My partner bought two scarves at UGG in the Rocks, unsure which one I would like for Christmas. He returned one week later with the boxed scarf I didn't choose, with the receipt of course, and was told UGG would not accept it back for a refund. I am familiar with Australian Consumer Law and retailers are not required to provide a refund or replacement, but in this day and age, when retail is really suffering, UGG could have chosen to give a refund. Instead they forced him to buy something else in the store which he didn't intend to purchase. Very shabby UGG, and you have lost our custom. In terms of corporate social responsibility, what you have engaged in is described as an obstructionist model, where a company does the minimum to stay within legal requirements. You could be accommodating, or even proactive, like so many very successful retail companies, but I am afraid as far as the good, the bad and the UGG-ly go, you are the UGG-ly.

What is most impressive about this company is being able to make my vision come to life. My UGG Boots look so amazing! So glad I found out where authentic UGG Boots are made! Cant wait to visit their factory on the Gold Coast!

This is the genuinely Australian made company linked to the UGG Since 1974 factory on the Gold Coast. The only store I found in the area with authentically Australian made UGG boots and needless to say, this made them the best quality. Friendly and helpful staff too.
