Chips were stone cold, fish burger was burnt had 3 pieces of square fish obviously frozen supermarket brought. Hamburger my partner ate I personally wouldnt have. $25 worth of food that ended up in the bin. We only went there because we werent quick enough to get to ellas Before they closed. Dont waste your time or money if you have to wait 30min at ellas Its worth it. The food and service is worth every cent
Good food, however 1 ordered & paid for 3 seafood sticks & 4 potato scallops when I got home there were only 3 potato scallops so it's back to Ella's Takeaway in the future, don't like being ripped off. Thought I should be fair & give them another chance in case it was a genuine error, today I ordered 3 seafood sticks back came the reply sorry we haven' got any, so I ordered fish & 3 potato scallops, when I opened up lo & behold there were only 2 potato scallops so they definitely don't erroneously short shrift it's a deliberate ploy on their part.apparently they're under new ownership time will tell if they survive.
Good food pleasant surroundings
The best steak burger I've ever had in my 48yrs.
Fish was outstanding, batter was light and full of flavour. Fish was chunky and perfectly cooked. Chips were generic frozen, but fish was so good only knocking off a single star. Will come back if in area again.
